Starting out :

As a very hyper child it seemed almost automatic that sports and artistic activities was the best way of expending my energy, channeling my talents and keeping me disciplined & focused.

When I started lifting, I had little knowledge of muscle building and technique. Since then, I have made tremendous progress and have become more educated on the human body, on the effects of food, metabolism, eating habits and control.

Experiencing the industry, getting into competitions which just kept my desire to learn more and more about Health and Fitness.

Being competitive:

I am very competitive and I have been from since I was a little child. I am competitive at all times especially when I really want something and enjoy doing it. My competitive spirit is what challenges me to be a better person, athlete, and a better motivator! Winning is EVERYTHING but not the way you're thinking, winning on stage is AMAZING but winning in YOUR HEART is the MOST IMPORTANT!

Future Goals:

My goals are to continue being a role model for people who want to get into fitness, eat better or those who just want to get in shape. I would also like to continue promoting myself and my sport

I am a firm believer and an advocate of the idea that you can live a happy, fun, energetic life without cigarettes or drugs......However I am realistic I know that good FOOD and ALCOHOL is not something we WANT to live without! But I BELIEVE that we can find a BALANCE!

I have also been running, Fitt and Fabulous for the last 10yrs, which is a Fitness and Nutrition consulting business that helps anyone who has questions or needs any type of guidance with personal fitness.

Why did I choose Fitness/TRAINING Program (when competing/ on season)

Fitness chose me as I chose it. The fact that I have the opportunity to be the best that I can be is what motivates me in this sport.

On season training: Gym twice a day 45 min cardio every morning w/combination of body parts in the evening (weights), and 30 mins of cardio. Weekend workouts are practicing fitness routine, posing w/circuit training all body workout light weights lots of reps.

·     Monday - cardio, upper back and biceps, abs

·     Tuesday - cardio shoulders and lower back, abs

·     Wednesday - cardio, chest and triceps, abs

·     Thursday - cardio, legs quads and hams, abs

·     Friday - cardio, calves, gluttes, abs

·     Saturday - cardio

·     Sunday - cardio

I have not always been able to keep up this routine but as my experience grows so does the ability and the determination to keep up this routine and to be the best I can be.

EATING

My meal plans are all different depending on the time of the year and the time of the day and honestly I try too, I try and calculate down to my last calorie intake. I use and easy calculation:

1gram of Protein = 4 calories
1 gram of Carbohydrate = 4 calories
1 gram of Fat = 9 calories

My daily Caloric needs for my body and activity level is approximately 2477 calories per day on the "on season" when I am looking to cut a few pounds I take 1000 calories off of the above total and increase my cardio.

Eating well is one of the hardest things to do sometimes, life gets busy and you can totally lose track and "fall of the wagon". Don't give up! GO BACK TO THE BASICS CALORIES IN CALORIES OUT!

SUPPLEMENTS: It's simple you take them if you need them. I use Premium Microfiltered Iso-Late Whey Protein, B-100"s, and Glutamine.

On fitness and more...

I love fitness because of how it makes me feel. and in turn it makes me look great. I love being my own walking billboard :)

I feel great inside and out and my energy level is amazing. Being this active has given me the drive to do all the other things that I love to do in life.

Fitness is a passion, It's my passion. It allows me to express all the fire and dedication I have in my heart and soul, it gives me the leaway to be creative and to show case MY talent TO MOTIVATE AND HELP OTHERS ACHIEVE RESULTS!

The honorable feeling I get when people come to ask my opinion on products or workouts, is unmeasureable. The relationship that I have developed with my clients are ones that are the most special to me. We are not just client and trainer, we become involved in each others lives as friends. The fact that I can help someone realize their health goals, and meet the challenges that they thought were not possible, or just to put a smile on a clients face when they are having a bad day is what I live for!

I live for Fitness! You should too :)
